Summary
In December 2018, the "Enforcement Decree of the Building Act" was amended to include "Multi-family housing, Apartments (less than 500 households), Tenement houses and multiplex housing" in Crime prevention compulsory building. Therefore, it is urgently required to prepare crime prevention building standards for multi-family housing, multiplex housing, etc. The purpose of this study is to propose a ‘Crime Prevention Building Criteria Notification’ reflecting the expansion of the buildings subject to the crime prevention obligation, and analyzing the economic effect of crime prevention building criteria
