The Smart City Research Center is a smart city service support organization designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in January 2019 in accordance with the Act on the Promotion of Smart City Development and Industry, and provides support for establishing practical urban planning policies for smart cities, support for survey of perception about smart cities and consulting support for local governments, support for the improvement of smart building systems in connection with smart cities, publicity support for revitalization of smart cities, discovery of policies, and other support for institutional improvements.
